Strictly necessary (no consent required)

Session cookies from our authentication provider (Clerk): keeping you signed in.
In your browser: theme (light / dark), language, the record of your cookie choice, lab settings (time zone, chart theme and settings, templates, closed panels) and, for the life of the tab, the information pop-ups already shown. None of this is sent to our servers.

Audience measurement (with your consent)

Google Analytics _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, lasting 13 months at most. No analytics script is loaded before you agree.
Page addresses sent are cleaned: no parameters, no identifiers.
Measurement data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months at most.

Your choice

Your choice is kept for 6 months on your own device, then you are asked again. Declining is as easy as accepting.

You can change your mind at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of public pages or in “My account”. Withdrawing your agreement deletes the _ga cookies.
